By using Kiteday, you agree to these terms.

Your account

You must be over 18 to use the app. You are responsible for your account’s security and for what is done with it. You may not impersonate someone else or create an account with misleading information.

Events

Events are organized by users. Kiteday is not the organizer of events; organizers and attendees are responsible for an event’s content, safety and whether it takes place. When meeting people you don’t know, choose busy public places, and let someone close to you know where you are if needed.

Paid events

An organizer can set an entry price for an event. Payment is not taken through Kiteday; the price and how it is paid are between the organizer and the attendee. The organizer is responsible for prices, refunds and cancellations. Asking for more than the price shown on the event page, or taking payment and not holding the event, breaks our rules, and you can report the organizer.

Rules

You may not:

  • Harass, threaten, use hate speech, discriminate, or endanger the safety of others
  • Hold illegal events, or post unauthorized advertising or spam
  • Share other people’s photos or personal information without permission
  • Give false information to join women-only events
  • Try to disrupt the app or access other people’s accounts

Your content

You are responsible for the text and photos you share. You give us the permission needed to show them in the app; when you delete your account, your content is deleted too. We may remove content that breaks the rules and suspend or close accounts.

Limitation of liability

Kiteday is provided "as is". Weather alerts and event information are for information only and their accuracy is not guaranteed. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for damages arising from meetings and events between users.
